Some other questions we have been asked in the past..

Why bother covering my outboard?

Outboards are expensive & easily damaged especially the cowling being made of fiberglass or highly polished plastic, so why risk getting that first scratch on the cowling or even stone damage on the leg of your outboard. Outboard covers are not cheap we know this but would you want us to make a product that does more damage that not having a cover on it? Oh course not so we ONLY make quality products that we put our name on. Beware of cheaper imitations that claim all that we do.

" If it does not have the prop on the back...take it back! (our logo has a small prop in it)

I can't believe you can run the motor with your covers on?

We have sold thousands of covers over the 10 + years we have been making them. All of the manufacturers have tested our product and found no reason our covers impede the performance of the outboard! We are the ONLY company to have approval by most of the brands including the only company in the World to get YAMAHA JAPANS APPROVAL to use our covers. We export our product all over the World and in some Countries make the OEM product for these brands. US we are working on, but the boys here are hard to get hold of.

Will having a OCA cover void my warranty?

With regards to other companies this may be the case but at OCA we have approval from the major brands who have tested our product as stated above. So our covers won't void the warranty when used in the correct manner and maintained in the way we specify in our "Cleaning & Maintenance" Sheets which we provide in every cover. Oh and just as a requirement by law for boat shows we attend we have both public and product liability which we have never had to make a claim on in over 10 years of operating.

I can buy a cheaper product from another company...should I?

By all means please do your research you may find a cheaper product, but remember the old saying " You get what you pay for". The secret is in our fabric & manufacturering process, we are the owners of a fabric we call POLYSOFT® which has been designed to handle most of the things a normal outboards and owners will throw at it. Ask yourself if the "cheaper" cover will handle gas on it? We actually soaked our material in gas for two weeks to see what would result. We smeared it in oil, we shipped it to our distributors in Australia and the UK and asked them to leave the material out in the elements for over 6 months, snow in the UK and up to 110F in Australia. We towed our own company boat over 1200 miles with our covers on, we have over 40,000 covers out there and all this resulted in nothing going wrong, no abrasion, no fading even our gas and oil soaked material had no signs of wear or failing. A customer once said to me and I use this still today, do you agree?
